Favourite road: A417 from Streatley to Cirencester
Favourite area: Elan Valley, Wales
Fun fact: My favourite movies are Wildhogs and Cliffhanger (no, really !)

Date of Road Captain training: 2008 advanced course at Rider’s Edge & updated ride
Favourite rides: Any open road UK or Europe, USA, South Africa
Fun fact: Never regretted joining the Chapter, have been to and done things I wouldn’t have without joining. Started out not knowing anyone in the Chapter somehow was asked to become Director in 2011 for 4 years.

Rides: a Sportster XL1200 Low custom converted to a trike

Date of Road Captain training: February 2018 awarded Road Captain Badge, the first trike rider to complete the course there.
Favourite areas to ride: are Scotland and Peak/Lake District, A93 Blairgowrie (Spittal of Glenshee), A939 Ballater to Grantown-on-Spey (stunning views), A357 Cat and Fiddle (beautiful views), A57 Snake Pass (beautiful views and Ladybower reservoir), A592 Kirkstone Pass (for the challenge of single track roads and a steep climb)
Fun fact: I was hit smack on the helmet by a low flying pigeon whilst touring in Lincoln. I was stunned, but the pigeon carried on flying!

Fun fact: The cost of repairing a CVO Ultra dropped on its side at 0mph is two thirds the price of a new Pan America S.
